One written exam during the teaching semester (in itinere) and a second written exam at the end of lectures and practicals. Each examination consists of a multiple-choice questionnaire and essay questions. If a student fail the in itinere examination, he/she will be examined on the entire program at the end of the course.
The student should:
- demonstrate a good understanding and knowledge of hormonal regulation of reproduction and estrous cycles in different species;
- understand and know the physiology of gestation;
- be familiar with the mechanism that control parturition;
- know of the techniques of semen collection and storage and artificial insemination techniques
