COMPARATIVE LITERATURES
Oral exam
The course aims to achieve a thorough knowledge of the history of literary comparative studies, critique and the theory of twentieth century literature, but also of the publishing industry, in view of a competent application of the specific linguistic and cultural tools required by the discipline
The course offers an in-depth and comparative analysis of three European writers who have ventured with a spurious and plural nonfiction and critic prose, particularly inventive and difficult to classify, such as Witold Gombrowicz, Elias Canetti and Winfried Georg Sebald.
W. Gombrowicz, “Corso di filosofia in sei ore e un quarto”, Bompiani, pp. 155;
E. Canetti, “Potere e sopravvivenza”, Adelphi, pp. 160;
W. G. Sebald, “Vertigini”, Adelphi, pp. 229;
