The evaluation is determined by the oral presentation of a paper concerning the practical training carried out during the course, and theoretical questions. During these tests, the knowledge and the acquisition of familiarity with the fundamental notions of project management and financial reporting will be verified

Objectives

he course aims to provide the student with the basic principles of project management and financial reporting. The course will allow to acquire and use the main principles and tools for planning a project, to support the management of resources, times, costs and risks of a complex project in different contexts and situations. At the end, the student will be able to analyze the main elements of a call for funding; use the main fundamentals to draw up a project proposal and the main management and reporting tools for a project.

Contents

Definition of Project and life cycle. Sources of funding. A practical example of a complex project. Project cycle management and the logical framework approach: project conception and planning phase (stakeholder analysis, analysis of problems, objectives and definition of strategies, the logic of the intervention, the matrix of the logical framework). Time management: Gantt and its use. Cost analysis, budgeting and reporting. Elements of risk management. Monitoring of results, achievement of objectives and activities, project reporting, project closure activities. Project evaluation and sustainability.
