The course aims to delve into the main peculiarities of avian physiology. Upon completion of the course, the student should acquire physiological knowledge related to the physiology of respiration; renal physiology; flight; physiology of nutrition; and physiology of male and female reproduction. In addition, the student will understand the basic principles of avian physiology related to the apparatuses in the program, how these principles are incorporated into the adaptations developed by this class of animals, and gain experience in discussing and answering questions on animal physiology.
