Objectives

At the end of the course, the students will acquire the main knowledge on the chemical thermodynamics.
They will learn the gas law, the first and second law of thermodynamic, the phase transition, the partial molar
properties, chemical equilibrium.
The student will acquire also the knowledge to solve the main thermodynamic problems.

Temperature, gas, heat work and first principle, Enthalpy, Second law of thermodynamic, entropy, entropy in statistical mechanics, thermodynamical potentiol and equilibrium conditions, thermodynamic stability, phase
transition, partial molar properties, ideal non ideal solutions, chemical equilibrium. Electrochemistry
