The course aims to contribute to a legal training in the field of multi-level protection of human rights, appropriate to the functions that future graduates will be able to perform.The primary training objective is to provide the fundamental theoretical, conceptual and methodological tools for the analysis of the processes of evolution of human rights and fundamental freedoms, at the level of national, European and international law. The course will focus on the study not only of the definition of inviolable rights contained in the main international conventions on human rights, but also international mechanisms established at European regional level to ensure that the rights set out in these Conventions are effectively guaranteed within the laws of the States which have ratified them.
