MEDIEVAL HISTORY
Individual oral examination with some questions relating to the program in order to measure the level of learning and to verify:
- the degree of knowledge of the program
- the ability of place events and personages in their chronological and spatial dimension
- the achievement of an appropriate and scientific terminology
The examination score will be expressed in thirtieth.
Knowledge of the main events and phenomena of medieval history, placed in the correct chronological order; identification of the fundamental causal relationships between events; critical analysis ability of political, institutional, social and economic structures.
The course aims to:
1) analyze the general framework of Italian and European medieval history;
2) study of seigneurial powers and rural societies in Sardinia during the Middle Ages, through careful analysis of sources.

During lessons students will be encouraged to read specific essays.
Lectures on general aspects of medieval history and in depth analysis of specific topics of the course, enhanced by the review of different types of sources; field trips, visits to exhibitions, audiovisual.
In-depth seminars on the topics covered with direct participation of students with individual reports or study groups on specific topics, in order to raise awareness in the use of the tools of historical research. For students attending the classroom exams and discussion of any papers prepared during the course will be an integral part of the profit exam.
