The educational aims of the course are represented by the deep study and the acquisition of the foundations of the criminological thinking so as it has developed historically
Particular attention will be paid to the institutional part, dedicated to the study of the so-called European criminological schools, on the one hand, and American criminology, on the other. The second part of the course will be set up according to a monographic cut and dedicated in particular to the following topics: criminological science; the murderous crime; sexual crime and gender-based violence; illegal immigration; the phenomenon of human trafficking; racial discrimination in the criminal justice system; total institutions; victimology.

Front Lesson. For students attending the course it will be given material for deep study during the lessons. For foreign students it is possible to make written thesis and a program or the exam in english.
