The aims of the course is to illustrate and discuss the development of tourism through the geographical analysis of different territorial contexts according to the principles of sustainability.
I. Knowledge and understanding: knowledge and analysis, at different scales, of the main geo-economic contexts of sustainable tourism development; knowledge of the benefits and critical issues related to strategies and policies for tourism sustainability.
II. Applied knowledge and understanding: being able to analyze and understand the phenomenon at different scales.
III. Making judgements: to know how to analyze and interpret the evolution of sustainable tourism highlighting its benefits and critical aspects according to the geographical contexts considered.
IV. Communication skills: being able to communicate effectively using geographic language.
V. Learning skills: the ability to learn will be verified through the direct involvement of students.
