The goal of the teaching will be reached when the student will be able to demonstrate the acquired knowledge on the pathogenesis of diseases. In particular, the objective of the course is to describe at molecular, and cellular and tissues levels the functional mechanisms underlying the etiology of the diseases, the cellular adaptations, the mechanisms of damage, repair and cell death, the inflammation processes, the general concepts of immunobiology and immunopathology, the molecular bases of oncology. The student should have acquired the knowledge on macromolecules biological features, on DNA/RNA and proteins involved in the pathogenesis of human diseases.
