BEEKEEPING. Students will acquire knowledge on the importance of honey bees and beekeeping in the forest environment, and on the raw materials supplied for the hive productions as nectar, honeydew, pollen and resins.
The course also provides theoretical and practical insights on the main hive products: honey, pollen, royal jelly and propolis.
MUSHROOMS AND TRUFFLES: Provide students with knowledge on the ecological and economic importance of fungi in forest ecosystems, with particular reference to the cultivation of edible mushrooms and truffles
