Group presentation of the institutional visit to the assigned Social Service or Healthcare System; recording and individual report on a case examined in class to be delivered before the day of the exam; interview on the proposed toric contents

Objectives

The course aims to provide students with theoretical and practical tools useful for defining the peculiarities of the professional profile of the Social Worker both in a general sense and through the contextualization of this figure in the context of territorial social networks, such as dynamic relational systems, producers of meaning. . Through a participatory and self-reflective working methodology, it is aimed at encouraging the development of relational thinking in the approach to the ethical-deontological and methodological contents of the discipline and the areas of application thereof and at developing the ability to observe, analyze and elaborate; It also aims to develop a process of reflection on the experiences related to the contents of the training experience

Contents

Contextualization of teaching: the functions of the internship in the training course; 1st year objectives.
- Ethical and deontological aspects: professional identity of the Social Worker and area of interest of the Social Service. Brief overview of the main regulatory sources and specialist texts.
- Aspects inherent to the Methods and Techniques of the Social Service: Aid Process, Methodological Procedure and Help Relation; the interview; Social Service documentation. In-depth study of the peculiar characteristics of the different types of documents (report; registration; minutes; intervention diary; project; regulatory texts) and general indications on the drafting methods.
- Elements of organization of services: the Social Service within the organization of the Services.

Teaching Methods

The methodology used will focus on the practice-theory-practice process, through the alternation of lectures and group activities. The course will therefore be structured as a learning and experimentation laboratory, "a space for reworking professional action" and the contents proposed "on a technical and emotional level". Students will be involved in the analysis and evaluation of clinical cases and in the analysis and production of written texts. In evaluating learning, importance will be given to participation in qualitative and quantitative terms in the proposed activities.
