The target of this course is to supply the student with the basis of the applications and uses of metals in the biomedical field.
At the end of the course the student will have acquired the skills, knowledge and comprehension of the role of metals within the human body, metal toxicology, metal applications in the biomedical and therapeutic fields, composition of some common metallo-drugs.
