The student must have already taken or studied a basic course in economics with emphasis on microeconomics topics. Student must review the basic concepts of mathematics already studied in the high as well as graphical representation.
Written test. The expected duration of the test is 70 minutes. The exam is divided into two parts. For the first part of the topics there are short open questions, multiple choice questions and true/false questions. For the second part of the program there are long open questions and the student must answer two out of three questions. The student must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of economic language as well as the ability to use the appropriate tools to solve economic problems by usign graphical analysis.
1. Knowledge and Ability to Understand. The course aims to provide a solid preparation in the microeconomic analysis of agents behavior (individuals, firms and institutions) in a market economy. The course also aims to introduce students to the economic analysis of law. 2. Applied Knowledge and Comprehension Skills. The student will be able to use the theoretical base acquired in order to analyze and understand the real behavior of subjects operating in a market economy. The student will be able to evaluate the efficiency of various legal institutions. 3. Autonomy of Judgment. The preparation acquired will guarantee the student the ability to evaluate independently and critically the economic behavior of individuals, business strategies and provide potential solutions to real economic problems.

SECOND PART - Elements of economic analysis of law. 7. Economics of property law. 8. Economics of contract law. 9. Economics of tort law.
