The Wildlife Nutrition and Feeding course is conceived to provide fundamentals for the future graduate in order to develop professional skills aiming to achieving:
• Knowledge of the general principles of the natural diet of the various European mammal and bird species;
• Correctly evaluate the body condition for the definition of energy needs and their satisfaction through the adequate choice of feeding sources, to compose the diet:
• Operate a selection of feedstuffs and of provision techniques to respect the fitness to the environment;
• Manage the effects of feeding practices associated with particular functional states during the captivity of wild animals.
