Prerequisites:

- Manual knowledge of the Contemporary History program in force in secondary schools for the last year and possession of the relative skills and competences.
- Ability to place historical processes in the geographical space in which they take place.
The recovery of prerequisites can be made through the use of a manual adopted in the last year of secondary school, to be agreed with the teacher.
For effectiveness and synthesis we recommend: Silvio Paolucci, Giuseppina Signorini, La storia in tasca, edizione rossa, vol. V Il Novecento, Bologna, Zanichelli, 2014, ISBN 9788808736550.
The ability to correctly place historical phenomena in different geographical and geo-political contexts is expressly required. For this purpose, the aid of a valid historical atlas is considered indispensable. Recommended is:
- Zanichelli Historical Atlas / under the direction of Pierre Vidal-Naquet. - Bologna : Zanichelli (an edition as much as possible updated).
The historical atlases available in the reading room of the Humanities and Languages Library, as well as in other libraries of the University Library System (Social Sciences Antonio Pigliaru; History) can be freely used.
