The Pediatrics course is aimed at providing the student with:
• a method based on the analysis of the clinical problem in pediatric patients, identification of its essential elements, formulation of explanatory hypotheses in order of priority, and search for bibliographic sources necessary for solving the problem of the patient;
• the skills needed to address the most common preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic issues in pediatric clinical practice;
• the fundamental knowledge necessary to recognize medical conditions requiring urgent treatment rather than referral to a specialist;
• the knowledge of recent advances in pediatrics.
