The course is organised into 3 main parts.
Some of the topics covered in the course include:
1. Ethics and Business. More in particular, personal interests, responsibility, values (relevant to business activity: e.g., respect for human dignity, honesty, fairness, and the development of trust), principles, rights, moral emotions and moral reasoning.
2. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) (theories and ethical dilemmas). More in particular, accountability and Stakeholder Theory; codes of conducts and social reporting, national and international standards, CSR communication.
3. Critical consumption (e.g., voluntary simplicity, boycotts, buycotts, and culture jamming, billboard banditry, Burning Man).
