Direct knowledge of hagiographic texts and analysis of language and of different themes. Mastery of critical tools and capacity to set and fulfill a research in the hagiographic field.
The course is organized in two parts. The first one will concern methodologies related to the study of hagiographic sources; collections and research tools will be illustrated. The second part will consist of the reading of carme XIX by Paulinus Nolanus (XI natalicium in honour of san Felice).
