Objectives

Understanding of cultural developments from Late Antiquity to Early Middle Ages times, with a specific focus on issues related to the archaeology of production and trade routes, settlement dynamics, and landscape evolution; aim of the class is to acquire skills related to the analysis of differentiated research sources in order to arrive to a historical reconstruction with specific focus on Late Antiquity and Early Middle Agestimes (3rd to the 11th century A.D. ); in-depth analysis of Sardinia between Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages times.
