At the end of the course the student will know the role of emotion development through the lifespan, in particular, on the emotion regulation skills.
The course aims to deepen the developmental transitions into a life cycle perspective, in relationship to the individual's development needs, that require continuous readjustments. Interpretation and intervention of developmental pathways in the lifespan will be studied particularly inside the complex interlacement of the emotional processes. Therefore they will be addressed the principal theories of the emotions and their components: emotional understanding, emotional communication and the emotional regulation.
