Objectives

Basic notions on the causes of climate change phenomenon with a special focus on the potential impacts of climate change.
Students will be guided to a critical analysis on climate change phenomenon and on actions to mitigate it.

Contents

Basic concepts of the Climate Science
Analysis of the main causes of climate change
Analysis of climate change impact on terrestrial ecosystems
Description of adaptation and mitigation strategies to climate change in strategic sectors
International actions and agreement to face the climate change phenomenon
