Knowledge of the basic concepts and tools in anthropology of tourism; the application of such tools and concepts to cultural and environmental tourism.
Cultural and environmental tourism is in continuous expansion nowadays. The program presents a series of anthropological interpretations of tourism, and in particular cultural and environmental tourism, in relation to local economies and territorial systems. Tourism is also linked to the territory’s image and the role that media and local development policies have in these processes.
