SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGY
Oral examination.
This course provides the basic knowledge relating to the main theories, methodological guidelines and a representative overview of the research topics.
The course aims at basic knowledge to deal with studies of the same scientific sector.
The selected handbook is very useful as a study tool for beginning students in Anthropology. The text contains illustrations (photos, thematic maps), a final summary in each chapter and a general glossary.
ONLY FOR STUDENTS COURSE L39: The course includes a educational study for Social Service students: the mobility of population in relation to globalization.
In summary, the course contents are:
1) beginning and the development of the anthropological thought;
2) ethnographic method;
3) cultures and cultural diversity;
4) ritual;
5) religion;
6) material culture;
7) family and kinship;
8) economic and political organizations
9) body;
10) political economy, society, culture and globalization.
ONLY FOR L39 STUDENTS:
11) with regard to the item 10 the course includes a study on the social and cultural aspects of population mobility in relation to work and migration.
