Clinical Biochemistry: no prerequisities
The aim of the course is to lead students to acquire basic knowledge on i) chemical composition, structure and functions of the cell, as basic unit of living organisms; ii) the energetic flux indispensable to life; iii) genetics heredity.
Characteristics of life. Chemical components and cell organization. Energy and metabolism. Nucleic Acids; Protein synthesis, genic expression and regulation. Human genome. Reproduction and basis of human genetic.
