General Pathology with Elements of Pathophysiology:
At the end of the course the student knows the basic concepts of General Pathology and General Pathophysiology,
necessary for the subsequent development of specific skills in the nursing field. The student is able to use the
acquired knowledge for understanding the pathogenesis of disease and for the treatment of the same illnesses. In particular, the aim of the course is to describe the cellular, molecular, and functional mechanisms that are at the base of the general etiology of cellular adaptations, mechanisms of damage, repair and cell death, inflammation,
immunobiology and immunopathology, oncology, and some pathophysiological changes.
