Students will learn the physiopatology and clinical methods of the developmental age with specific abilities in social and preventive pediatrics, and general pediatric diseases from baby to teenager.
Classification of newborns. Extrauterine adaptations. Care of newborns. Jaundice. Respiratory diseases. Congenital heart defects. Chromosomal abnormalities. Neonatal infections, seizures, hypoglicemia. Inborn metabolic diseases.
Pediatrics:
- growth monitoring, short stature
- upper and lower airway infections, common exhanthems, acute gastroenteritis, urinary infections, lymphadenitis
-asthma, cystic fibrosis
-adverse reactions to food, gastroesoph. reflux, colic, constipation, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, viral and autoimmune hepatits, Wilson disease

-rheumatic d., juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Schönlein porpora, Kawasaki disease
-anemia, bleeding disorders, leukemia, lymphoma
