The course is a part of theoretical lectures and practical part in the laboratory on the following topics:
Pre-analytical and analytical procedures, and preservation of some types of biological samples (plasma, serum, cerebrospinal fluid).
Principal techniques used in laboratory such as: chromatography, electrophoresis, immunochemical methods and immunoassays, PCR, etc., to study the cells and their constituents with particular reference to laboratory medicine concerning the nervous system diseases: epilepsy, dysimmune diseases, demyelinating diseases and neurodegenerative diseases.
