The exam will consist of 10 multiple choice questions (Part A) and 2 questions each consisting of short answer questions (Part B). The exam will be based ONLY on the program as indicated during class. Students must only carry with them an identification card, a pen, pencil / rubber and calculation tools.
The course gives an overview on the basic principles of economics - under a perspective of both micro and macro economics- and provides the basic tools to understand the modern market economies.
One analyses the topics related to the price formation, consumption and production decisions, market characteristics and types, market failures, national accounts along with the basic tools of political economy intervention.
