ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY
Final oral examination with carrying out exercises.
The course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and analytical methodologies, depending on the Course of Study, both from the theoretical point of view and from the point of view of practical and chemical analytical skills necessary to carry out an chemistry analysis and for the presentation of the analytical results.
Acquisition of conceptual information in order for a proper conduct of the calculations carrying related to solubility equilibria, precipitation, acid-base, complexation, redox, with references to the concepts of General Chemistry. Provide practical information, essential, in order to be able to work in a chemist laboratory. Materials used in the laboratory. Introduction to electrochemistry. Acid-base titrations, precipitation, redox and complexation, theory and applications. Acid-base indicators pH range. Overview of analytical data obtained through CHN analysis, IR spectroscopy, UV and chromatographic methods instrumental and non-instrumental.
