Theoretical-practical final exam
Reading ability and interpretation of territorial data through digital and traditional cartography; knowledge and treatment of territorial data; interpretation of topographic and tematic maps and their use for the research applied on cultural heritage; basic techniques for the georeferentiation and for the digital processing of geographic information. Basis of Gis, open source and commercial, and foundations of remote sensing, applied on cultural heritage.
The course will provide basis to read and inerpret territory, through digital and traditional cartography and to know the rilief techniques,elaboration and interpretation of data about cultural heritage, also through the use of GIS, on which will be provide basis. Will be also handle techniques for the relief and the treatment of remote sensig images, in particular referring to cultural heritage and to the acquisition and the development of digital georeferred information ( GPS, Smartphone etc.).
