The course intends to provide basis for the use of geographical information systems for studying, sensing, for the analysis and management of archeological cultual heritage. The students will be guided into the advanced applications on territorial cultural heritage through the use of GIS. Starting from the data acquisition from Geographical portals, will be created new shapefiles, databases and will be defined database and geodatabase and will be analyzed geoprocessing. Will be treat of rilievs with GPS, data transfert into the GIS system, use of remote sensing data. Will be debated about new policies about the tratment of territorial data ( Inspire, CAD) referring to the specific matter of archeological heritage.
