Clinical examination of the patient to make a diagnosis and differential diagnosis for the main pathologies of surgical interest in organs and systems (Locomotor, Dermal, Dysentant, Respiratory, Urinary, Nervous, Sensory Organs).
Particular attention will be given to the following topics: lameness related to diseases of the hip, knee and hock; gastric dilatation-torsion, colic; pneumothorax and diaphragmatic rupture; bladder and urethral lithiasis; umbilical and inguinal hernia; venous and urethral catheterization; performing interrupted or continuous sutures; dosage and administration of anesthetics; patient monitoring under narcosis.
