The student shall understand the basic theoretical and practical concepts to design and implement databases. The student shall also understand how to use a markup language like HTML and XML.
The course is composed of two modules. The basic theoretical and practical concepts to design, create and manage databases are addressed in the first of the two modules. An introduction to markup languages like HTML and XML and their utility to emphasize the structure and contents of a text are addressed in the second of the two modules,
