SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGY
Oral
The objectives of the course are: the main theories and methods of anthropological research, some issues of contemporary anthropological research. In particular, the course aims to provide tools for understanding consumer cultures and contemporary material culture.
The course contents are: the main theoretical and methodological models; the research about social and economic, political and cultural phenomenons (cultural consumption, body, memory, tgift economy, cultural globalization, landscape, urban spaces, warfare). The course investigates social life of things, material culture and consumption.
