Written exam
The course aims an introduction to concepts and basic sociological theories in the historical context in relation with current reality. The course offer a profile of the different theoretical approaches of sociology and his search method by the analysis of most representative authors of sociological reflection and of their works.
During the course two different approaches to sociological issues, albeit interconnected, will be used. The first phase will offer an historical vision of sociological thought and his searching method. The second step of the course will focus some instruments to understanding some transformation that have occurred in modernity. Specific attention will give to the role of tacit knowledge in the everyday life.
