Objectives

At the end of the course, the students will acquire the main knowledge on the chemical thermodynamics.
They will learn the gas law, the first and second law of thermodynamic, the phase transition, the partial molar properties, chemical equilibrium and electrochemical systems.
The student will acquire also the knowledge to solve the main thermodynamic problems.

Contents

Temperature, gas, heat work and first principle, Enthalpy, Second law of thermodynamic, Conditions of equilibrium, phase transition, partial molar properties, ideal non ideal solutions, chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry. Exercitations in the laboratory.
