Objectives

The course consists of lectures and practical exercises.
Aims provide the essential notions acquisition of manual in a chemical laboratory; knowledge of techniques basic operating revolts analysis; acquisition of the analytical method for the execution of the separation and identification of inorganic ions present in a mixture; characterization of inorganic substances of pharmaceutical interest

• Aims and objectives of the analysis pharmaceutical and official methods of analysis:
• Safety in the chemical laboratory: •
Theoretical and operational techniques of separation methods: decantation, filtration, centrifugation, extraction with solvents; chromatography; distillation, simple and fractional crystallization, fractional precipitation (analysis of inorganic ions); sublimation.
• Optical methods pharmaceutical analysis: General principles and methods of emission (flame photometry)
•Official Pharmacopoeia XII Ed (European Pharmacopoeia VIIa Ed.): historical notes. Structure and content.
EXERCISES: Practical methods of separation and identification of inorganic drugs
