Successful completion of courses of Pharmaceutical Technology, Socioeconomy and Law 1 and 2

The course aims to provide a comprehensive knowledge concerning legislative norms of interest to the pharmacy and socio-economic impact of private and public pharmaceutical expenditure. At the end of the course, the students should be able to: - Know and comply with the legal requirements of the profession of pharmacist; -Assessing the economic impact of medical prescriptions. - Directing the user towards to more cost-effective pharmaceutical choices
Lectures concerning: a. Regulatory aspects of the profession of pharmacist, b. The composition of private and public pharmaceutical expenditure, c. Control systems of public pharmaceutical expenditure, d. The lists of transparency of medicines provided by the National Health Service, e. Orientation mode of selection of medicinal products. Laboratory: each student will evaluate a number of medical prescriptions in terms of legislation and expenditure and indicate the medicinal products for which it ican replace with preparations cheaper.

During the lectures, PowerPoint presentations will be used. In the lab., each student will have full availability to a workstation suitable for the evaluation of medical prescriptions.
