GERMAN LANGUAGE
The German exam consists of a language test of the abilities learnt and an oral exam, which is about topics discussed at lessons and which can only be taken after the written test has been passed; there will be optional intermediary tests.
Students will know, as well as the basics of German linguistics, will know the basic tools, problems and strategies of both of language learning and of specialized communication (Humanities).
The course aims to introduce the German language, with particular focus on:
• Syntactical and lexical features of specialized communication
• Current lexicographical tools (different types of on and offline dictionaries, corpora and databases
etc.)
• Analysis of short academic texts (Humanities).
