General Botany.
The exam consists of a practical part (presentation of a herbarium containing some tens specimens of Sardinian, Italian or European native species - Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Angiosperms – amounting to 1-2% of the regional vascular flora), followed by an oral exam that will focus on theoretical concepts. Students not attending lessons are requested to contact the lecturer.
To give basic competences for bio-systematic analysis and fundamental elements for the comprehension of the origin and phylogenesis of plant diversity, also by focusing on particular systematic groups.
