Contents

Introduction to Non Equilibrium Thermodynamics. Linear and non linear systems: Phase space, Attractors, Stability, Priciple of linearized stability. Linear s analysis of fixed points: General formulation, System involving one variable, system involving two variables, Excitability, Three varaible and beyond. Bifurcations: Transcritical, pitchfork, saddle-node, kinetic potential, Hopf bifurcations, Global Bifurcations. Chaos.
