The course provides the students, mainly about dental and oro-mandibular diseases, with essential knowledge of:
- the equipment and the proper use of various diagnostic radiological techniques,
- the potentials of single imaging techniques,
- their appropriateness in relation to the clinical problem and the cost/benefit ratio,
- the most correct diagnostic algorithms in different clinical scenarios.

Therefore, the student will be able to identify time by time the more suitable radiological techniques in the diagnosis and management of patients with dental and/or oro-mandibular diseases.
