Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student has the opportunity to learn the methods of descriptive statistics, in order to examine the main concepts and techniques for the collection, processing and study of the data for a statistical survey. The student also will achieve a basic understanding of the learning methods of statistical inference.
Basic statistical notions. The plan for data collection. Statistical distributions and graphical representations. Index numbers and other statistical indexes. Mean and variability. The concentration. The statistical relationships between characters. Notes on combinatorics and probability. The sampling distributions. Proceedings of inference.
