The Pediatrics course is aimed at providing the student with:
• a method based on the analysis of the clinical problem in pediatric patients, identification of its essential elements, and formulation of explanatory hypotheses in order of priority;
• the skills needed to address the most common preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic issues in pediatric clinical practice;
• the fundamental knowledge necessary to recognize medical conditions requiring urgent treatment rather than referral to a specialist;
• the knowledge of recent advances in pediatrics.
